At the end of May, I participated in the first annual paint out sponsered by the Livermore Art Association. I decided to look for something to paint in Livermore's historic downtown. I tend to look for compositions that have interesting light and shadow patterns and thought this view fit the bill. We were allowed to enter up to two paintings to be judged at the event's end. This is one of the ones I selected and it ended up winning the top prize. 100% plein air At the end of May, I participated in the first annual paint out sponsered by the Livermore Art Association.
